Western Specialty Contractors Completes Waterproofing Repairs at Dyersburg, TN Stadium

DYERSBURG, TN, UNITED STATES, August 27, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Western Specialty Contractors’ Little Rock branch has completed a waterproofing and concrete repair project at a stadium for the Dyersburg School District in Dyersburg, TN.

Serving as the prime contractor, Western performed a variety of repairs designed to help protect the stadium from moisture intrusion and extend the service life of its exterior components. The scope included sealing control joints, cove joints, railing penetrations and stone coping throughout the facility.

Western also applied an elastomeric coating to the concrete coping caps to provide an additional layer of protection against water infiltration and weather exposure. Crews performed miscellaneous tuckpointing and repaired areas of deteriorated concrete coping caps as part of the overall scope.

“Completing this work before football practice began was an important part of the project schedule,” said a representative from Western Specialty Contractors’ Little Rock branch. “Our team stayed focused on completing the necessary waterproofing and concrete repairs efficiently so the facility would be ready for the upcoming season.”

The project began in April 2026 and was completed in May 2026, ahead of the start of football practice. Western finished the work on time and under budget to the satisfaction of the project team.
